To this end, we research suitable properties, whether furnished for the transition or for permanent rental with your own furniture. We will pick you up, accompany you to viewings and assist you with the contracts.

Anyone in possession of a foreign driving licence (non-EU and EEA contracting states) may drive in Germany for 6 months from the date of entry. Anyone wishing to stay in Germany for longer than 6 months must convert their driving licence into a German driving licence if they wish to continue driving in Germany.

At the energy supplier, the telephone company, a financial institution for financial matters, at school and kindergarten for family matters, for subscriptions of all kinds and much more.

There are many authorities, i.e. official bodies responsible for various areas, and many of these authorities have to be visited in person. It's good to know that you have a companion at your side who is familiar with them and can provide expert advice and support in all matters relating to these visits to the authorities.

Applying for visas, work permits and/or temporary or permanent immigration are also procedures carried out by the authorities - but they require expertise and sometimes perseverance in the process. It is best to cancel them in good time so that you can return to your home country without any avoidable additional charges. Deregistration at the residents' registration office is an important step in this process. The other deregistrations should also be completed on time and are sometimes associated with a few other obligations. In the case of deregistration/cancellation from the energy supplier, for example, reading and documenting the meter readings.
